Our restaurant and cafeteria is located in the main building of the Fjordtel with a beautiful view of the Nærøyfjord. One third of the roof in this building is made of glass so you can enjoy the view of the fjord even during inclement weather. Inside the restaurant we have approximately 250 seats and on the terrace there are 200 seats. All furnitures in the restaurant are designed using a pattern from the Urnes Stave church, and made by local craftsmen. The reason we have used this pattern is that it is the oldest pure Norwegian pattern known.
On the terrace we have a grill house called “Langilden”. The grill is open between the 15th of June and the 20th of August on days without rain. Here you can watch our chefs prepare grill food for your pleasure. Most of the food on the grill menu is locally produced and among the dishes we recommend is Goat meat.
The cafeteria is open between 10.00 am and 19.00 pm every day from April to October. In June, July and August we offer a dinner buffet in our restaurant between 19.00 and 21.30. In the months of April, May, September and October we have a-la-carte dinner serving between 19.00 and 21.00. In the restaurant we also offer a breakfast buffet between 07.00 am and 10.00 am. We can also arrange special menus for groups and parties, and we can cater food in the Magic White Caves for prebooked groups.
